Michael Keaton is returning to the spandex he left behind with the multiverse spanning film The Flash that premieres on November 4th of this year.
Not much is known about the subject matter of the movie, but we expect that it will cover the "flashpoint" storyline where Barry Allen crosses through the multiverse, opening doors, and maybe forgetting to close them afterward.
Given Ben Affleck's disdain for the role of Batman, this is likely his last outing in the cape and cowl, with Keaton taking the reigns in the DCEU going forward. Keaton's presence in the DCEU as the Batman is solidified by the fact that Keaton has been cast in Batgirl on HBO Max where we assume he will be serving as a mentor for Barbara Gordon, daughter of J.K. Simmons' Commissioner.
