Dungeons & Dragons and Tuque studios dropped a bombshell announcement yesterday.
The massive multiplayer D&D brawler is hitting Xbox Game Pass. Day One. It's a huge for D&D as their title is going to get a massive push on launch day because of Game Pass (hope their servers are ready) and it's a coup for Game Pass with their second AAA title dropping on the platform in just three months.
Dark Alliance is set in the frozen north of Icewind Dale, where the companions of the call, Drizzt, Catti-brief, Bruenor, and Wulfgar seek the powerful crystal shard.
Each companion is unique and comes with their own power set. Drizzt is a master of quick attacks and panther...love? No, claws. Definitely claws.
Catti-brie is your archer, and can rain death from long distance.
You can expect Bruenor and Wulfgar to bash some things down...and with 50 different moves, special abilities, and team attacks, there's going to be a lot of ways to skin a dragon (because you KNOW there's gonna be a dragon.)
The game is also supporting console and PC cross play on launch day, while confirming the game's availability on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows 10 PC, and on mobile w/ Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta.
