Disney dropped the poster for Cruella today, in advance of the first trailer release tomorrow.
Starring Emma Stone as the titular villain in her early years, it also stars Emma Thompson and Mark Strong.
The film is directed by Craig Gillespie, who is perhaps best known for directing Lars and the Real Girl and I, Tonya, follows the early exploits of Cruella deVil, before she sets out to create her coat of Dalmatian fur.
Glenn Close, who played the titular character in the live action 101 Dalmatians and its sequel, produces.
According to Wikipedia, "In 1970s London, young fashion designer Estella de Vil becomes obsessed with dogs' skins, especially Dalmatians, until she eventually becomes a ruthless and terrifying legend known as Cruella."
Similar in concept to Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie, Cruella is scheduled to release in May, 2021.
